Richard Rene has joined MusicDatak as Director of International Business Development to assist in the company’s aims to expand internationally and strengthen its market position.
Richard worked as Director of International Development at Westwood One Radio Networks from the late 80s to mid 90s, then was Vice-President of International at Austereo-MCM Entertainment, which is now Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) up until 2000. He then was General Manager of International Relations at Dial Global from 2010 to 2012 and as an International Business Development Consultant through his own Rene Global Associates.

Sam Zniber also worked in Australia for Clear Channel. He helped create the ‘Smooth Variety’ soft adult contemporary format for Mix 106.5 a decade ago. Mix became KIIS 1065, and poached Kyle and Jackie O from rival network SCA and station 2Day FM late in 2013.
