Robert Walls will join Croc Media’s AFL Live team for the remainder of the 2015 season. Walls will return to the special comments chair he dominated for over a decade, after a 14-month stint in France. The AFL Hall of Famer became one of the most-respected commentators in football after ending his coaching career in 1997.
Crocmedia executive director Chris Giannopoulos says it is a huge coup to have Walls join the AFL Live commentary team: “We’re over the moon to have Robert join our broadcast. To have ‘Wallsy’ calling alongside Rex Hunt, Peter Donegan and Liam Pickering is extremely exciting for our huge listening audience.” The AFL Live broadcast is syndicated to over 200 stations throughout regional Australia, making it the country’s most widely distributed football radio call.
