2025 marks 40 years of broadcasting for Scott Mayman, currently in the newsroom for the Capital Radio Network, and as an as Australia/Pacifica region correspondent in America.
For nearly 25 years Scott has worked for CBS, but now he is switching over to ABC News Radio in the United States.
Scott said:
“I’ve had such a great history with the team at CBS. Almost 25 years ago, I started as their Kansas City based reporter based at KCMO-AM where I was News Director. They retained me when I moved back to Australia and I became their overseas correspondent. The big stories have included coverage involving September 11 and I’ve also been called upon to provide reports in New York.
The CBS team has been great. It really does move me to say goodbye to them. Now – a new journey with a new team. The people I’m now working with at ABC America have been so welcoming.”
