Hamish and Andy have taken top spot of the Australian Podcast Ranker in Triton Digital’s latest release, with previous top Casefile True Crime having greater monthly downloads, just shy of 3 million.

Hamish and Andy and Casefile True Crime were two of the four in the top ten to exceed 2 million downloads a month, with Kyle and Jackie O’s radio catch-up podcast No 6, with 2.8 million, and the only non-Australian podcast in the top 10, Stuff You Should Know at No 9 with 2.4 million.

Denan Kemp’s Bloke In A Bar, published by his own BIAB Media, released 20 new episodes to round out a top 10 that included sports, news, true crime, catch up radio and conversational genres.

The biggest jump came from The Australian’s True Crime podcast Shadow of Doubt, up 54 spots to 22. Nine Radio’s Hannah’s Story debuted at 57.

LiSTNR consolidating its no.1 position as Australia’s largest podcast network with more than 8.5 million listeners and 20 podcasts in the top 50.

Hamish & Andy, a LiSTNR podcast, also cracked the million mark for monthly listeners for the first time, as did Casefile True Crime.
