Jodie Clarke’s The Personality Hire takes a look at charisma and instinct in modern careers

Former Channel Seven reporter Jodie Clarke has launched The Personality Hire, a podcast looking at how charisma and instinct can impact modern careers.

The debut episode featured Sunshine Coast breakfast radio host Annabelle ‘AB’ Brett as well as how Jodie went from EA to full-time reporter in under two years.

The latest in the series sees Jodie chat with Curious Media co-founder Poppy Reid (both pictured above) sharing her insights on leadership, imposter syndrome, and building profitable media brands.

Poppy talks about the impact of her former role at Rolling Stone:

“I realised how much more beneficial it was for the company, with me being the face of it, we actually saw a 30% increase in the brand deals that we locked in when I was having those commercial and editorial meetings as the face of the business… so it benefited the company, profitability went up”
The podcast features candid, practical and fun conversations about the future of media brands and the women reshaping leadership within them. The Personality Hire episode three is out on Tuesday September 9 and is available wherever you listen to your podcasts.
