A third series of Spotify‘s The Louis Theroux Podcast has been announced. Unusually for such things, it doesn’t launch until September.
Theroux is an excellent UK interviewer whose previous podcast discussions with Sharon Stone disclosed the extent of Hollywood’s casting couch culture, and with Paul Mescal, the impact that Normal People’s overnight success had on his mental health. Other guests have included Shania Twain, Craig David and Australians including Nick Cave, Germaine Greer and Baz Luhrmann.
Theroux said:
“Here we go again. More chats, more probing, more laughs and maybe even a few tears here and there. There’s something very special about the podcast interview, particularly the warmth and intimacy you get when listening, so I can’t wait to get back to it with some fascinating guests. I’d love it if you joined us.”
This series’ line-up is yet to be announced however listeners can expect more in-depth conversations with and revelations from an eclectic array of talented guests from all over the world full of fascinating chatter, surprising revelations and the odd ‘awkward moment’ to keep things interesting.
Series one and two can be listened to here. The Louis Theroux Podcast is a Spotify podcast from Mindhouse, and is available on all podcast providers.
