SBS’s Alone Australia is back and with a companion podcast

The hit survival series Alone Australia is back on Wednesday 27 March at 7.30pm on SBS and SBS On Demand. This season each episode will be accompanied by SBS Audio’s Alone Australia: The Podcast, hosted by Alone Australia Season 1 winner Gina Chick and SBS Presenter and Alone superfan Darren Mara.

10 Australians will be dropped into New Zealand’s South Island (Aotearoa’s Te Waipounamu) facing dehydration, starvation, relentless rain, snow, freezing subantarctic fronts. All they will have is their skills and knowledge plus 10 carefully selected survival items to source food, water, shelter, and warmth. The last one standing will win $250,000.

You can listen to the podcast weekly from Friday March 29 as Chick and Mara debrief each episode. Special guests including S2 cast, S1 alumni, series creators and well-known fans of the show. The podcast is on SBS On Demand, SBS Australia, YouTube, the SBS Audio app and wherever you get your podcasts.
