Former Australian test spinner Stuart MacGill has joined Cricket Unfiltered as co-host, alongside founder and host Andrew “Menners” Menczel.
MacGill played 44 test matches for Australia, taking 208 wickets in the Shane Warne era, and finished his career with 986 wickets across all formats.
He said:
“I’ve mucked around with cricket media a bit in the past, but the timing feels right for me now. More than anything, it’s a good fit — and I get to work with someone I’ve known for a long time and trust as much as I’m ever going to trust anyone.”
Menners added:
“I’ve always loved Stu’s thinking on the game and have a huge amount of respect for him, so I’m absolutely thrilled to have him on the show and really looking forward to this partnership. It’s great for the cricket community to hear his thoughts.”
