The How’d You Meet Podcast has wrapped its first season of real, faith-centred love stories with an invitation for more stories to be told.
Hosted by community radio broadcaster Lauren Francis, How’d You Meet was created to offer a refreshing alternative to the unrealistic portrayals of relationships often seen in mainstream media. Each episode explores not just how couples met, but what it takes to build a healthy, lasting, God-centred marriage.
Season One has featured a diverse range of stories from second chances at love and blended families, to friendships that turned into lifelong partnerships, all grounded in honesty, faith, and intentionality.
The final episode featured Ash and Toby whose story began with a chance meeting at the very first service of a newly planted church.
Reflecting on the season, Lauren said:
“This podcast has always been about creating space for real stories, the kind that don’t end at ‘happily ever after,’ but show what it actually takes to build something lasting. I’ve been so encouraged by the response and the people who have connected with these stories.”
Lauren is inviting individuals and couples with meaningful “how’d you meet” stories to get in touch.
“If you have a story, whether it’s simple, unexpected, or completely out of the box, and your marriage is built on a faithful foundation, I’d love to hear from you.”
