Back in 2014 radio announcer and comedian Wil Anderson began Wilosophy, a podcast asking smart people stupid questions in the hope of finding the meaning of life.
Nine years later Anderson celebrates its 300th episode milestone with a chat with American comedian, actor and the host of the Never Not Funny podcast, Jimmy Pardo.
Pardo said of his experience:
“Wil is a genius. He’s one of the funniest guys in the world. This is a very raw Jimmy Pardo. I’m very open and honest on that episode and it was a lot of fun to do.”
Up-coming Wilosophy conversations will feature guests include Australian comedians Adam Hills, Mel Buttle, Dave Thornton, Anne Edmonds, The Chaser’s Andrew Hanson, 2Day FM’s Ed Kavalee, Tripod’s Scott Edgar, American writer Josh Gondelman, UK comedian Phil Wang and American stand-up icon, Jackie Kashian.
An early pioneer of podcasts, reflecting on the longevity of Wilosophy, Anderson said:
“I’m sorry. After 300 attempts, we still haven’t figured out the meaning of life. I hope listeners have enjoyed the show anyway.”
The 300th episode and the complete back catalogue of Wilosophy are all available on LiSTNR.
