One of the nation’s largest radio networks may be forced by new media ownership laws to sell a Mount Isa radio station, in north-west Queensland, later this year. The Macquarie Media Group’s $1.35 billion takeover bid for Southern Cross Broadcasting may require the company to sell up to 29 radio stations.
