Competition fine print has robbed Launceston man Chris Atkins of a $5000 dream trip to Los Angeles, reports the Launceston Examiner. Mr Atkins was told on-air on Friday that he had won a Melbourne radio station competition to see American rockers Linkin Park live at the renowned House of Blues in West Hollywood. A few minutes later he was told he was ineligible because he was Tasmanian. Mr Atkins is a regular listener of Melbourne radio station Triple M online.
