Prank shows on radio channels are prohibited in Islam, or “haram”, popular religious preacher Dr Mohd Asri Zainal Abidin claimed today. According to the former Perlis mufti, such shows are forbidden because they publicly shock, frighten, mock and shame the victims of the pranks.
