AUSTRALIA’S communications watchdog has criticised Sydney radio station 2Day FM for claiming it misused its power over the royal prank phone call. The Australian Communications and Media Authority, represented by the Commonwealth, yesterday took to the High Court to argue it had done nothing wrong when it investigated the call and found the broadcaster had breached a licence condition.
