An announcement so nice, he made it twice: Twin joy for Power FM’s Craig Pitman

It’s a good thing Power FM SA Breakfast anchor Craig Pitman is already used to early wake up calls, because there are bound to be plenty of them in his immediate future.

The father-of-two is about to become a dad again – and it’s double the joy this time around, with he and his wife expecting twins.

Craig first shared the news on Monday last week, during a game called Blank Space, during which Power FM staff and listeners got to know a bit more about their new Afternoons recruit and Generation Fresh winner Chelsea Barber.

Chelsea was a trouper as she was put on the spot, despite it only being her eleventh day at Power FM.

During the game, it was revealed that Craig and his wife are expecting a new addition to the family.

Then this week, Craig spent the whole morning saying ‘Twosday’ instead of Tuesday, much to the annoyance of his co-host Katie Wright, before revealing a detail had been missed in his original announcement – there’s not one baby, but two.

The twins are due in January, 2026.

Craig is already dad to two children, aged seven and three.

“Fair to say that with two kids already, I love no sleep and grey hair!” he laughed.

Katie also shared some exciting news of an impossibly cute new arrival in her own life.

She recently got a puppy called Honey, who, as you can see, has  quickly become a ‘station dog,’ having already joined the brekky show.
