Further senior commercial appointments for Tapt Media

Tapt Media has bolstered its Sydney commercial team with Joanne Lowe and Simon Daly (Simon pictured main) joining Tony Avellino and Justin Negrini under the guidance of Chief Commercial Officer, Brian Gallagher.

Joanne Lowe commences as a Senior Account Director from ARN where she had worked, in Sydney, for the last five years. Simon Daly is a Senior Business Manager with more than two decades of experience in the Australian media landscape spanning News Corp, Fairfax Media, Australian Community Media (ACM), and most recently Motio.

Simon works alongside Tony Avellino, with Tony a radio and news specialist who has worked across ARN, Sky, and Macquarie Media. Justin Negrini too previously worked for Tapt radio stations in the Macquarie Media days with his new role, Business Development Manager

Amanda Unwin, Sydney Sales Director, said:

“This is a team built for where Tapt Media is heading, not just where we are today. Simon, Tony, Justin and Joanne each bring extraordinary depth of experience, and together they signal to the market exactly the kind of business we are becoming.

Our investment in Sydney reflects a broader truth about Tapt Media right now: we are growing, we are committed to excellence in client service, and we are absolutely focused on winning across the direct, independent, and consortium markets with talent that sets the standard.”

Separately, Tapt still doesn’t appear to have shared the radio stations’ new news themes that were mentioned at the May 1 launch. Stations go into the news simply with the station name. Perhaps they are waiting on an aligned sponsorship before they launch properly.
