I've never understood why commercial radio isn't available on set top boxes, like 2JJ, ABC Jazz, SBS 1, SBS 2, SBS Chill has been for years. It seems a no-brainer to me.
Virtually everyone has a set top box either built into their TV and / or as stand alone unit. No need to purchase an expensive DAB radio with the usual poor or patchy reception problems. No need to go to another room to listen. It's right there in the lounge room. You can listen in the comfort of you arm chair, in digital stereo and usually through your best amplifier and speakers. If I owned commercial radio stations FM or AM, I'd be asking the management why they aren't tapping this captive audience and missing millions of potential customers.
