Happy Christmas from Radioinfo

From this afternoon we will be wrapping presents, putting them under the tree, planning Christmas lunch and stocking up the bar in preparation for the big day.

So we’ll be too busy to do much reporting over the next few weeks!    Just like you probably.

We will turn off our regular daily radio news alert emails so as not to clog your inbox, but we will leave the job alert emails on in case you are spending the Christmas break job hunting.

If stories break, we will still cover them, but we may be a little slower than usual to get them published. But please keep sending us news to [email protected] and job ads to [email protected].

We wish you a Happy Christmas and a prosperous new year in 2025.

This year we had more readers than ever, viewing all our stories about mergers and takeovers, redundancies and hirings, contributions to communities, controversies about content and all the personalities in Australia’s audio industries. Also, within our team, Peter Saxon retired after seeing this publication through many years of growth and success.

Next year we look forward to covering the industry as it unfolds in 2026 and celebrating the new Australian Audio Awards. Enter the awards here.
