Children from Inverell Public School have collected 15 washing baskets full of goods and Coles Inverell has dropped of 40 boxes of groceries as part of 2NZ/Gem FM’s Fight for the Farmers food drive.
2NZ breakfast host James ‘Monte’ Irvine says he was astounded when the donations had filled the radio station’s largest room just two weeks in.
Now,with the appeal in its last week, the room has been filled and emptied five times.
