ABC Radio National revives the radio drama with Dear Dr Chekhov

When the axe fell on Radio National’s Airplay program in 2012 many assumed it spelt the end of radio plays in Australia.

But the venerable art form is set to make a comeback with the national broadcaster – for one night at least.
