Organisers of the Ballarat Flood Relief Appeal yesterday distributed more than $34,000 in donations and praised the "extraordinary response" from the public. 3BA Community Appeal manager Peter Caligari said the funds would be used by welfare agencies to help needy families caught up in the January floods, reports the Ballarat Courier.
