Barnaby Joyce: Rural news mergers will ‘limit opinion’

The likely merger of radio and television newsrooms in the bush could reduce the level of local opinion following Macquarie Media’s takeover of Southern Cross’s regional TV stations, Queensland Nationals senator Barnaby Joyce has warned.
