BBC strike averted as broadcasting union accepts pay deal

The threat of strike action at the BBC has been averted, with members of the broadcasting union Bectu accepting a 2.8% pay rise deal and ‘watered down’ changes to pension benefits, but criticising the increase in management salaries.
