When Roger Wood founded Richmond Valley Radio he soon learned there was more to running a station than simply being an on-air announcer. Fifteen years on since those humble beginnings, Mr Wood can now add Medal of the Order of Australia to his list of titles. He was awarded his OAM for service to radio broadcasting and to the community of the Richmond Valley, reports teh Northern Star.
