The Edge’s cucumber game ‘not explicitly sexual’ – broadcasting watchdog

A controversial radio game where women put cucumbers down their throats to see how far they would go was "meant to be humorous rather than offensive", a broadcasting watchdog says.

The Broadcasting Standards Authority has released its findings into a complaint against The Edge’s new Bachelorette game show titled "What’s Your Cucumber Number?".

The game was based on contestants putting cucumbers into their mouths and biting down, with the winner getting the most cucumber into her mouth.
