Enemies must learn to share

It is well known that broadcasters Derryn Hinch and Alan Jones don’t holiday together, go to the movies or even meet for a quiet drink to console each other about the pressures of talkback radio. They aren’t friends. Simple fact. It was a surprise, then, to hear last Wednesday that Melbourne-based Hinch has been signed as a contributor to Jones’s network, 2GB, a surprise to Jones himself even though he remains a substantial shareholder in the network. Sources at the network tell Diary that Jones is most displeased with the decision and has made that view known.
