The "unexpected changes" to the management and board of APN News & Media last year resulted in ousted chief executive Brett Chenoweth receiving termination benefits of $1.6 million.Mr Chenoweth, who had been a board member since 2011, received a "termination payment equivalent to 12 months’ salary", a payment of $100,000 to payout short-term incentives, salary of $836,344 to February 19, 2013 and all leave entitlements.
