Prime Minister, John Howard, had been under fire in Victoria for not visiting the state during the first two weeks of the campaign.
"You always leave the really good things to well into the picture. I’ll be in Victoria for a few days," Mr Howard told Nova FM after having a mobile phone thrust into his hands.
