Veteran broadcaster Tony Fenton received a standing ovation as he was inducted into the Phonographic Performance Ireland (PPI) Radio Awards’ Hall of Fame. The PPI Radio Awards received the highest number ever of entries in their 14 year history. Awards are made in all areas of radio programming, for radio personalities and for production across all areas of radio including music, news, sport, speech, entertainment and comedy.
