This weekend, a concert celebrates 40 years of Brisbane’s longstanding independent community radio station, 4ZZZ FM. Four artists will perform — Ed Kuepper (founding member of 1970s punk pioneers the Saints), 80s janglers Ups and Downs, Screamfeeder (seminal indie rockers of the 90s and noughties) and Jeremy Neale (prolific present-day performer in Velociraptor, Teen Sensations and countless other projects) — representing a snapshot of Brisbane’s bountiful alternative music scene across four decades.
