The tragic death of Fairfax columnist and ABC commentator Peter Roebuck has left a void that will not easily be filled. His was a strident voice. His opinions often challenged, and even annoyed, the most ardently patriotic listener more accustomed to sedate and parochial commentary. Yet, over time, he became an integral and highly respected part of the coverage reports the Sydney Mornign Herald.
