Former Channel Ten newsreader Craig Smart has become the second Perth TV anchor in as many months to turn to a university teaching job. Smart and Channel Nine’s Greg Pearce were both made redundant in November last year; Pearce recently accepted a role at Edith Cowan University and now Smart has joined Curtin and Murdoch universities as a radio broadcasting tutor.
