Just two weeks after James Packer picked up $4.5 billion for the half sale of his media assets to PBL Media, the joint private equity vehicle has made its first purchase, agreeing to buy the Perth Nine Network’s troubled affiliate, Sunraysia Television, for $136.3 million.
