Although social media played a big role in getting important information out during last month’s ice storm, some local politicians believe a dedicated radio station would better serve Peel. “It is inconceivable that in a region of this many people we have to call into a Toronto radio station and hope to get on air,” Brampton Mayor Susan Fennell said today at Region of Peel Council.
