In a day when investors exposed to the media sector were left second-guessing the pronouncements yesterday by Communications Minister Stephen Conroy, analysts and fund managers said they needed more detail and certainty on new media legislation that will be put to parliament next week. Media stocks traded sideways yesterday, with the value of the media index edging down just 0.25 per cent over the day.
