The ABC says it’s "disappointing and disturbing" that the Australian Federal Police has asked prosecutors to consider laying charges over stories about possible war crimes.
The AFP confirmed yesterday it’d sent a brief of evidence to the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions which will now weigh up whether to charge ABC journalist Dan Oakes for publishing classified information.
