Psycho-phant

In a tongue in cheek letter, Peter FitzSimons – in a new column in The Sun-Herald – writes to ABA Chairman, David Flint:

Dear Professor Flint,

Just a quick note to say I don’t care what that nasty Mike Carlton says about the impropriety of you writing to Alan Jones – how you should get knotted, prostrate yourself in apology before resigning, etc – because I don’t think you’ve done anything wrong at all. TFF thinks it so very Sydney for the head of a regulatory authority to write a fan letter to someone he’s meant to be regulating, and long may you continue to do so. And whoever said the whole concept of impartiality was really that important anyway?! If Carlton keeps going I am going to march around to Kirribilli House and instruct the Prime Minister that, well, I’m sure you know the drill.
Yours in simpering sycophancy, Peter FitzSimons.
