A petition calling for one of the nation’s biggest LGBTQ festivals to be moved out of the City of Perth to a neighbouring council has gathered more than 1000 signatures overnight, as impromptu protests broke out against Perth’s newly elected Lord Mayor.
On Perth radio station 6PR on Wednesday morning, Basil Zempilas, who is Channel 7 TV personality and a columnist for The West Australian, said genitals determined a person’s gender.
