Radio National shake-up to attract younger listeners

RADIO National’s flagship hour-long program Life Matters has been cut by 15 minutes in a revised broadcasting schedule aimed at attracting younger listeners to the highbrow ABC talk radio network.Along with Ramona Koval’s The Book Show, Life Matters is the latest victim of the shake-up that management says is necessary to "bring in that next generation of 40-plus Radio National listeners," reports The Australian.
