Rival NZ radio might throw Polly & Grant a lifeline

Mediaworks radio boss has admitted he could be interested in controversial radio host Polly Gillespie, who is off-air with rivals NZME after a weekend outburst. Gillespie said she was "trying desperately to save money" after fearing she was about to be axed by NZME’s station The Hits – and attacking the station’s senior management in a Facebook video and an an extensive interview with Stuff. But she might not be short of cash for long, with Mediaworks’ head of radio, Leon Wratt, saying he had long been an admirer.
