Rock radio continues to thrive despite shrinking ratings

NEW YORK (Billboard) – Despite shrinking ratings and a loss of stations, rock and alternative stations continue to thrive in about one-third of the top 35 markets, including Los Angeles, Houston and Philadelphia.
