The Gold Coast Bulletin says:
Rival radio stations Sea FM and Hot Tomato have been going at each other since day dot over whose advertising structure is better, but we think we have found a loophole.
Hot Tomato promises no more than two ads in a row, while Sea pledges 50 minute music marathons during the workdays which are supposedly devoid of ads.
Which is why we were surprised to hear the Big K blatantly singing the praises of a golfing package at the Gold Coast Country Club.
That sounds like an ad.
If you are going to promise 50 minutes with no ads, don’t hide them behind a DJ who brings them up in casual conversation.
