Straight after playing an Elvis Presley classic, the veteran radio presenter announced he too was "all shaken up" after receiving a letter from management.
"This is possibly the last Peter John Newman program on Curtin FM," he said, before launching into an on-air rant about station manager Quinn Glasson.
