2SM is on the lookout for a Producer to join the team behind the 2SM Sydney Breakfast Show hosted by Tim Webster.
The Show Producer plays a pivotal role in shaping the show’s success, ensuring each day’s program runs smoothly and is relevant and meaningful to listeners in Sydney. You’ll work closely with the breakfast team to plan, coordinate, create and amplify content to ensure the show is engaging and entertaining.
Your days will involve
- Researching and generating content ideas
- Writing and developing scripts
- Sourcing on-air contributors
- Scheduling interviews
- Arranging promotional events
- Overseeing the technical and organisational aspects of the program
- Providing in-studio production support and managing talk-back callers and guests.
We’re looking for someone with
- Previous experience as a producer or journalist in a radio environment
- Strong audio editing skills and a good understanding of radio broadcasting equipment, radio software, and systems
- Passion for current affairs and news
- A working understanding of the legislation, codes and copyright frameworks that apply to Commercial Radio
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
