The opportunity
Are you a reporter or radio broadcaster looking for casual work? We have positions available.
About the role
As a Traffic Reporter, you will join our fast-paced team at atn in Melbourne, broadcasting live traffic reports from the Essendon studios that will air across major commercial radio and TV stations in metropolitan and regional areas.
As an atn Traffic Reporter, you will be available to:
- Compile and report live traffic updates from a variety of sources for various locations
Possible on-air shifts:
- Mon to Fri – Morning (5 am – 9 am) + Afternoon (3 pm to 7 pm)
- Work some weekends – Morning (6 am – 12 noon)
- Work some Public Holidays
Experience and skills you will need
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years of previous radio, broadcasting, presenting or reporting experience
- Basic audio recording and editing skills
- Attention to detail and broadcast accuracy
- Clear and articulate verbal communication skills
- Some basic knowledge of Melbourne and Victorian roads
- Willingness to learn on the job and be part of a fun, dynamic team
