Traffic Reporter Part-time | Melbourne – Essendon Airport

The opportunity

Are you a reporter or radio broadcaster looking for permanent part-time work?

About the role

  • As a Traffic Reporter, you will join our fast-paced team at atn Melbourne’s Essendon studios. You’ll compile, write and report traffic updates to be broadcast live across major commercial radio and TV stations in both metropolitan and regional areas.

Hours of work

  • Monday to Friday, approximately 2:45 to 6:45 pm, including some public holidays

Experience and skills you will need

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years of previous radio, broadcasting, presenting or reporting experience
  • Basic audio recording and editing skills
  • Writing and research skills
  • Attention to detail and broadcast accuracy
  • Clear and articulate verbal communication skills
  • Some basic knowledge of Melbourne and Victorian roads
  • Willingness to learn on the job and be part of a dynamic team
