About Us

Abe’s Audio is an audio production company serving clients in the media, marketing, advertising, communication, video production, animation and eLearning industries. With offices in Devonport and Launceston, some staff based remotely and hundreds of clients around Australia, we’re a Tasmanian business with a national footprint.

Our vision is to be a leading audio production house renowned for exceptional service, creative excellence, and outstanding talent, and we’re expanding our team of exceptional audio producers to allow us to continue to do this.

Abe’s Audio has been operating for almost 25 years, and while commercial production was a major focus for the bulk of that time, we’re expanding into more complex sound design for video, long-form narration and podcast production projects. We still produce commercials, but the shift in work and requirements of our clients means we need audio producers who can add value to these growth areas.

About The Role

Audio Producers at Abe’s Audio consistently create and deliver high-quality audio. Using their technical and creative abilities, they are a crucial part of our team that produces a range of audio productions including sound design for video, commercials, long-form narrations, eLearning, online content, podcasts, TV programs and more. We produce over 120 jobs daily (many with tight deadlines).

Our Audio Producers:

Edit voiceovers and produce audio efficiently to a high standard

  • Make creative decisions regarding music bed and sound effect selection, creating content that delights our clients
  • Adhere to production deadlines and communicate clearly with the queue manager ahead of any delays
  • Facilitate client & voice Directed Sessions as required via Zoom
  • Communicate with clients as required
  • Proactively flag & fix errors before delivering audio to a client
  • Share knowledge and work with the Head of Production to help others develop their technical skills
  • Provide other creative input where requested

You’ll be given all the training and support you’ll need to thrive in the role, with plenty of room for growth. The role is based in our Launceston office, however, there is also the possibility of working remotely for the right candidate.
