The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) is a member-based, not-for-profit organisation that champions community broadcasting and plays a vital role in the Australian media landscape.
These services play an important role in providing a voice for ethnic, Indigenous and other minority groups, as well as supporting independent and emerging musicians and communities not adequately serviced by other broadcasting sectors.
The Role
Involves supporting stations to successfully implement and maintain CBAA digital services to deliver a great digital experience for their audience.
Responsibilities
- Station on-boarding, on-going support and guidance on CBAAs digital products/programs which include: CBAA WordPress template, Audio Streaming (Triton Digital product) and Podcasting (Omny Studio product)
- Assisting with general member enquires.
- Providing advice and guidance to station staff and volunteers on how to best utilise
online resources and products
- Responding to and resolving enquiries and issues
- Coordinate and manage data and databases, routine correspondence etc.
Your success profile will include:
- Previous experience in a similar digital online support role
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent work experience
- Sound knowledge of web content methodologies
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for web content and online resources
- Experience in coaching others in the use of online resources – such as WordPress
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical matters to individuals with little technical experience and or expertise
- High level interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven organisation skills, along with a high-level of attention to detail
- In-depth working knowledge of WordPress, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Eligibility to work in Australia on a permanent basis
