Compliance Officer

The CMTO is currently seeking a detail-oriented and values driven Compliance Officer to join our vibrant Sydney based team. This person will be responsible for monitoring our ongoing RTO Compliance activities and assisting in driving the continuous improvement strategies of the CMTO.

About the workplace

  • The CMTO office is located near Redfern Station.
  • The office is on level three and is accessible via a lift.
  • Parking is available one day a week.
  • Flexible working hours and remote working hours can be negotiated.

About the role

The Compliance Officer coordinates the CMTO’s Quality Management & Continuous Improvement processes. They are responsible for maintaining the CMTO’s training and compliance framework to ensure adherence to regulatory related requirements.

The Compliance Officer monitors Registered Training Organisation (RTO) compliance to meet changing sector and industry demands. They coordinate validation, internal audits, feedback processes, industry consultation and monitor the quality of learning materials.

The Compliance Officer collaborates with the CMTO team to follow policies and procedures, ensuring that the operations, staff and students of the RTO comply with the VET Quality Framework and funding contracts, which include:

Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015
Australian Qualifications Framework
State-based training funding contracts

The Community Media Training Organisation is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID 91800), delivering accredited and pathways training to community broadcasters around Australia.
