Geelong Broadcasters (the licensee of Geelong’s K rock and bay 93.9) is searching for Australia’s next best Media Sales Manager, to lead our high-performing local sales team.
The position is based in Geelong; the fastest-growing regional city in Australia, and Victoria’s second-largest city. The region boasts a robust and active business community, with a stunning waterfront, world-class restaurants, wineries and craft breweries, sporting and health facilities, and simply outstanding schools. - A proven track record of driving sales success in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Sound knowledge of sales psychology, and processes
- Rock-solid leadership, and a deep understanding of salespeople, with the ability to manage and motivate with both empathy and tenacity
- Excellent organisational, analytical and negotiation skills
- An excellent understanding of team building and training
- That you are commercially astute with strong business acumen
- A positive energy that is infectious, with excellent presentation and communication skills
- The ability to build strong relationships internally and across the business and community sectors

We are seeking an experienced Sales Management professional, and an attractive remuneration package is available to the successful candidate.
Core duties include (but aren’t limited to):
- The day-to-day management of our local sales team, helping them achieve their targets and our clients’ KPIs
- Developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with our business goals
- Identifying new market opportunities, and implementing them with internal and external stakeholders
- Daily internal face-to-face meetings to connect and inspire and coach the team, sharing market intel, challenges and ideas
- Monitor performance cadence and optimise results weekly through one-on-one sales meetings
- Establish, maintain and grow great client relationships and regularly represent the business at key local events
- Actively shape our vibrant, fun and inclusive workplace culture
